Job Title: History Supply Teacher Location: North Manchester Contract: Long-term, Full-time Start Date: January 2024 Are you a passionate and engaging History Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity starting in January? Aspire People are seeking a dedicated History Supply Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in North Manchester. The Role: As a History Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring a love for the subject and ensuring positive student outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging and creative History lessons in line with the national curriculum. Differentiating lessons to cater to the needs and abilities of all learners. Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive and focused classroom environment. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency across the department. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students. A passion for History and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.
