CLASS 1 DRIVER MONDAY - FRIDAY PAY RATE: £17.00 PER HOUR What's in it for me? As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Ongoing Work Weekly Pay Onsite Canteen Training Provided Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Programme Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to: DC and store Deliveries Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 1 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial Training Driver's Assessment will have to be completed (this will consist of a theory test and practical driving assessment) After successful Assessment, there will be two paid training days Apply Apply today by clicking below ADZN1_UKTJ
