CNC Miller Programmer

The company A well-established precision engineering solutions business based in Sandwell. Specialising in technically complicated tooling projects that need to be turned around very quickly. Due to the competitive market, they are seeking to add a CNC Miller/Programmer into their already highly experienced team. The role A CNC Miller is now required to join the team on a permanent basis. Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-12pm You will take responsibility for: Preparing, setting and operating CNC machines Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result What you need It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following: Must be able to programme Fanuc and/or Heidenhain Set and operate 3 axis machines Good communication abilities and able to work as a team and on your own Other DESIRABLE skills include: Experienced with Mitsubishi machinery Familiar with OneCNC CAD/CAM What is on offer On offer is the chance to join a deep-rooted company with over 50 years in operation with opportunities to move into supervisor positions.
