CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator

CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator Programming experience is advantageous but full training can be given Our client, due to growth and investment within the business is looking to add skilled CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator to their growing team. The main function of this role is to set and operate CNC Sliding head machines. Programming experience is beneficial but full training can be given if required. This is a permanent role in a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company. CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator Requirements Experienced with CNC Sliding Head Machines or strong knowledge working with CNC Lathes Experienced Setting and Operating CNC Sliding head machines Experience Programming CNC Sliding head machines (Advantageous) Experience programming Fanuc based machines (Advantageous) Experience with either Citizen or STARS machines is beneficial Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls Changing all the tools according to requirements and ensuring that the machine is loaded with material and set the machine count. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with the machine and tooling focusing on getting the machine running again. . Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments Experienced Editing tooling/ minor edits to programmes Working with a range of materials Strong attention to detail CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator Job details Permanent Days Monday to Friday between 7:30am-4:30pm £34,000-£37,000 per annum Pension Scheme
