Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Mitcham Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £100 - £110 Per day Benefits: PAYE Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans Providing one-on-one support to students as needed Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with behaviour management and classroom activities Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN Education: Relevant educational background in education or childcare Experience: Experience working in a school or educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and different learning styles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: SEN training or certification First Aid certification Working Conditions: The role involves working in a classroom setting with students with special educational needs.
