Social Worker - Children's Services

Who You Are We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) for a position within the Children with Disabilities team based in East Lancashire. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant social work degree and possess substantial experience, specifically with over 12 months of experience working with children and young people, preferably those with disabilities. Flexibility is key, as the start date is ASAP, and the candidate will need to have a flexible approach to working arrangements. An understanding of strength-based approaches and a commitment to innovative and progressive practice are essential. A strong desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children and young people will be beneficial. What the Job Involves This role is set for a placement of 3 to 6 months, with an hourly rate ranging between £34 and £41, based on experience. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children with disabilities, providing essential support and making a real difference. Your work will emphasize manageable caseloads, aimed at between 15 and 22, depending on the specific function.
