Finance Officer

iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting organisation based in West Lothian and are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join the team on a 6-month basis. There is potential for the right individual for this role to become permanent. Location : West Lothian, Scotland Working Hours : Part-time, 3-4 days per week (flexible working arrangements available after training) Contract : Temporary, with potential for permanent placement Salary : Competitive, dependent on experience Starting : Immediately Key Responsibilities Accounts to Trial Balance: Prepare accurate trial balances, including processing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform and maintain monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts. Accounts Payable: Manage and process supplier invoices Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy of financial data. Handle manual journal entries to ensure seamless financial reporting. Assist in month-end and year-end financial reporting. Requirements Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role. Strong knowledge of financial principles, particularly in preparing accounts to trial balance. Experience with Sage 50 is desirable Proficiency in accounts payable processes and balance sheet reconciliations. Strong interpersonal skills and alignment with company values.
