Job Description

Construction Planner – North West - £50,000 - £60,000 & Package We are currently recruiting for a Construction Planner for a D&B Contractor that specialises in new build around the North West. This is a permanent role where the selected candidate will be working on new build apartment blocks, education, commercial projects. My client has a full order book for the next 18 months and an excellent reputation in the industry. Construction Planner Role: Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works To liaise with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings Assist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progress Provide the planning service on tenders and projects Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager. Implement Company procedures Appraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmes Maintain the as-built programmeRequirements: 5 years experience in a Planner role Proficient in either ASTA/Primavera / P6 Confidence to oversee several project simultaneously New build apartment experience Interviews are available this week and a start can be suited as soon as it suits both parties
