Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join the engineering team. The role involves designing and delivering electrical control systems for advanced hydrogen applications. This is a hands-on position, ideal for a logical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will: Develop electrical schematics using EPLAN (or similar tools) and layout drawings for panels and components. Specify, verify, and document electrical components and systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications and deadlines. Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases. Contribute to continuous improvement and design standardization initiatives. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including IEC61508 and EN ISO 13849. Prepare safety documentation and user manuals for systems. Support the service team with technical resolutions. Skills & Experience To excel in this role, you will need: A degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years). Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards and software principles. Proficiency in EPLAN or equivalent planning tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with flow diagram tools (e.g., Visio). Experience in creating system calculations (e.g., power requirements, IS circuit calculations).
