Role Overview An experienced Engineer to join the Civil Engineering team. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, project management skills, and a collaborative spirit. The successful candidate will be instrumental in mentoring team members, managing technical documentation, and supporting project delivery. Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Oversee and produce technical documents, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. - Engineering Solutions: Develop and present engineering options, contributing to innovative solutions. - Technical Input: Assist in pricing project briefs, proposals, and deliverables. - Design Focus: Engage in highways, access roads, and temporary/enabling works design, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction. - Technical Reports: Produce comprehensive technical reports as required. Skills and Experience Required - Educational Background: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Professional Status: IEng/CEng or working towards this qualification. - Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of industry-standard road and/or drainage design software, current design standards, and the 'Design Manual for Roads and Bridges' (DMRB). - Software Skills: Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is advantageous. Familiarity with Microdrainage is beneficial. - Communication: High standards of written and oral communication. - Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of an experienced team of professionals.
