Job Summary Position: Sales Ledger/Credit Controller Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 37 per week (Mon - Thurs 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fri 8:30am to 1:30pm) Salary: £24,205 Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan Company Type: Manufacturing (Breathalysers) Looking for a Local Candidate ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic finance team Key Responsibilities: Invoice Management: Code, batch, and enter service invoices into Sage; import sales invoices via Smartvision and Micro Sage. Receipts Processing: Import daily bank statements and reconcile receipts against accounts; prepare weekly receipts forecasts. Credit Control: Contact customers regarding overdue accounts; resolve queries and manage credit arrangements. Financial Reporting: Prepare inter-company figures and input data into Excel reports; process monthly expenses and customer refunds. Support & Coverage: Assist with purchase ledger duties and cover for colleagues during absences.Skills Strong understanding of Sales ledger & Credit Control processes Accuracy, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a small friendly team Ability to meet deadlines Good analytic skills and the ability to interpret financial information Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with suppliers, auditors and internal departments.
