The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality German lessons to KS3 students, inspiring a love for languages and fostering linguistic proficiency. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community Your Role: Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to KS3 students. Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging targets. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to engage with language learning. Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the MFL department. Promote the cultural aspects of language learning through extracurricular activities and events. Qualifications and Experience A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching German at the KS3 level. Strong subject knowledge in German. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
