Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager required to join a leading global mechanical engineering manufacturer. Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager will lead a team of 30 people and be responsible for manufacturing, warehousing, production, logistics, and maintenance operations, reporting directly to the Group Operations Director. The Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager will have a proven track record of successfully managing large teams to achieve operational excellence, ideally within a multi-site mechanical manufacturing environment. Package £65,000 - £70,000 10% Bonus Company Pension Medical Care Additional benefits Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager Role Lead a team of 30 people and be responsible for manufacturing, warehousing, production, logistics, and maintenance operations, reporting directly to the Group Operations Director. Ensure that all onsite manufacturing and warehousing operations perform effectively and harness continual growth. You will drive strategic growth by leading manufacturing expansion projects, implement best practices and collaborate as part of the senior operations management team. Deliver all daily, weekly, monthly and annually manufacturing SPQDC KPI’s Liaise with various Engineering departments Office based near Leeds. Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager Requirements Proven track record of successfully managing large teams to achieve operational excellence, ideally within a multi-site mechanical manufacturing environment. Experience as a head of manufacturing, manufacturing manager, operations manager, head of operations, operations lead, manufacturing director, or similar preferably within a mechanical engineering manufacturing environment. Will be able to showcase clear examples of managing multi-site warehousing & supply chains within an engineering environment. Highly experienced at specifying and deploying Warehouse Management Systems. Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a large team. A technical engineering qualification – ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in mechanical engineering or similar is advantageous, though not a must. Willing to commute to the office in near Leeds
