Quality Inspector

Role: Quality Inspector Location: Stillington Salary: £29,760 3 Shift: early / late / nights This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join an established engineering business in Stillington. This market leading company operates in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and transportation, employing over 4,500 people in 22 countries. We are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector/Operator to conduct inspections on heat-treated components, perform reworks, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Main responsibilities: Carry out accurate and efficient inspection on heat treated components Perform reworks following a detailed work instruction Maintain component identification Maintain inspection records Check compliance to Quality Systems and customer specifications Assist in the preparation for and participate in Internal and External Quality Audits Liaison with production with regards to priorities and customer requirements Record and report any non-conformances to Quality Manger Ensure safe operating of all plant and equipment Periodic checks and calibrations Follow company health and safety procedures Comply with all quality system requirements Qualifications, experience and skills: Experience as quality inspector or similar role Excellent attention to detail Good communication and time management skills are a must Proactive can-do attitude with the willingness to overcome obstacles Experience of working in manufacturing environment Salary / package: Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10% Life Assurance – 2 x annual salary rising to 4x within Company pension Free parking on all sites Free refreshments provided An entitlement to full pay whilst off sick for a limited number of days (in addition to your statutory sick pay entitlement) 25 days holiday plus national holidays For further details, please contact Nick Sollis – or email your cv Omega Resource Group are an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Construction and Manufacturing sectors.
