Satellite Verification & Validation Manager (M/F)

OHB Italia is seeking for its Satellite and Missions Department in Rome or Milano a Satellite Verification & Validation Manager (M/F) REF. V&V_2025. You will join a team of system engineers, bringing your experience in leading and driving the satellite activities along the whole project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, verification, launch and in-orbit operations. As a V&V manager, you will drive all the activities relevant with the specification, verification and validation of the project, while respecting the satellite schedule and budget. Tasks: Lead the Verification and Validation of small satellites. Coordination, monitoring and ensuring the timely implementation of all relevant V&V activities. Contribution to preparation of Design, Development and Verification Plans. Confident handling of development processes (e.g., V-model). Definition and management of Model Philosophy and HW matrix. Management of the requirement specification process, from customer to Equipment level. Contribution to definition of verification methods and stages. Contribution to the definition of the testing infrastructure (e.g., Flatsat, SCOEs etc.). Support satellite verification and AIT activities. Preparation and execution of system and acceptance tests with customers. Evaluation, logging, and evaluation of test results as well as the documentation of deviations. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, including requirements engineering, functional analysis, verification control. Experience in satellite verification, including participation to AIT campaigns. Excellent sense of responsibility. 5 years of hands-on working experience. Structured hands-on work-approach. Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Good interpersonal skills. Fluent in English. University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education plus relevant proven work experience in industry. Assets: Requirements management tools (Doors, etc.). Model Based System Engineering.
