Senior Manager, Data Platform Engineering In this role, you will take end-to-end accountability for our Snowflake data platforms delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement. Leading a skilled team of engineers and data specialists, youll oversee all aspects of data platform management and change initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development, deployment, and maintenance of the Snowflake data platform, ensuring all platform changes meet high standards and comply with service level agreements. Managing and mentoring an engineering team that includes two Senior Data Engineers and a Data Architect. Overseeing data model design and data architecture to support scalable and efficient data solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform enhancements. Setting and monitoring performance metrics for data quality, reliability, and platform efficiency. The Stuff That Sets You Apart Experience and Skills Required: Overall 12 years of experience Significant experience in data platform engineering, with proven leadership in managing teams and delivering large-scale data solutions. Advanced knowledge of Snowflake and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong expertise in data modelling, data architecture, and data governance. Hands-on experience with data pipeline management and ETL processes. Nice-to-have: Experience with emerging data tools and techniques that improve platform performance.
