Senior Manager, Data Platform Product Management

Senior Manager, Data Platform Product Management Develop and own the strategic vision and roadmap for the data platform in collaboration with the product management team and stakeholders. Lead and mentor a team of a Product Owner and a Delivery Lead to ensure alignment with business goals and platform objectives. Define, track, and communicate metrics that measure the success of solutions delivered by the team against desired outcomes. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure solutions meet the functional and non-functional requirements defined by the product management team. Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating clarity on priorities, trade-offs, and expected outcomes. Establish processes for tracking delivery progress and ensuring alignment with Agile best practices. Advocate for a user-centric approach, ensuring solutions meet the needs of end-users and deliver tangible business value. The Stuff That Sets You Apart Must-Have Experience: Overall 12 years of experience With 6 years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on data platforms, analytics, or infrastructure. Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes. Experience managing Product Owners and Delivery Leads, fostering collaboration and accountability. Strong understanding of modern data architectures, pipelines, and cloud platforms like Snowflake, AWS, or Azure. Technical Skills: Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks. Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe). Ability to define and interpret success metrics for data products and solutions. Nice to Have: Experience in the retail or fashion industry, with insight into its data and analytics needs. Familiarity with Data Ops principles and their application to modern data platforms. Hands-on experience in data engineering or analytics roles to enhance understanding of platform requirements. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, bridging technical and business priorities. Strategic mindset with a focus on outcomes and measurable value.
