Our client is a leading manufacturer within there field supplying machines within the aviation, rail and defence sectors. The purpose of thi role of production planning engineer is to support with planning and co-ordination of all manufacturing operations. Experience within a planning role would be essential for this role. Previous experience working on shop floor would also be desirable. The main duties in this role of production planning engineer will include:ng Checking and reviewing engineering and planning data Working to compliance procedures Contributing to production and planning reviews both internally and externally Producing manufacturing documentation Identifying engineering changes and trends Maintaining company numbering system Preparing budgets Panning manufacturing activities Working with material suppliers playing a key part in manufacturing decision making The successful candidate must: Have great communication skills Have great attention to detail Be able to work under pressure Be comfortable working to budgets Have effective negotiation skills If you are interested in this role or you would like more information please contact or apply today
