Accountant

ACCOUNTANT - INSIDE IR35 - INITIAL 3 MONTHS One of Loriens Dundee based public sector clients are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team for an initial 3 month contract, largely remote working with few days for initial training and on boarding. Essential Skills Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or part professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CA, ACCA, ACMA) Experience of budget monitoring reports Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in excel Experience of ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations Experience working in an accounting environment Experience working with internal and external customers at all levels Experience of providing financial advice and support to budget holders Accurate numeracy skills demonstrating attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative, manage own time, prioritise and meet multiple tight deadlines Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Desirable Skills Relevant experience in a similar public sector financial environment Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
