Structural Engineer Location: Gloucester Reference: S0 90 Salary: Up to £45,000 Our client, a well-established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Gloucester, is seeking a skilled and driven Structural Engineer to join their growing team. With an extensive and loyal client base, their portfolio encompasses a wide range of complex projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail, public, and residential, throughout the UK. Key Requirements for the Structural Engineer Role: A relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (e.g., BEng/MEng). At least 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering design. Experience in designing with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. Proficiency in Tekla design software is preferred. Strong technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills, with proven leadership and excellent communication abilities. Structural Engineering role Overview: Develop structural designs for diverse projects, utilizing materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. Work closely with clients to understand their project requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality to ensure goals are met. Propose innovative solutions to optimize structural efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
