Software Development Manager – Northampton, Midlands Join a leading professional services organisation near Northampton as a Software Development Manager, where you’ll oversee a skilled team of Power BI Developers and software engineers, managing the end-to-end software development lifecycle and delivering high-impact solutions. Salary – up to £90k plus excellent benefits – hybrid working model with 2 days a week in the office. Core experience for this Development Manager role: Proven experience in leading and mentoring software development teams, including Power BI specialists. Strong technical expertise in Power BI, and data visualisation, with additional knowledge of Java and JEE technologies. A track record of managing full-lifecycle software development projects in complex environments. Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Agile or Scrum project management methodologies. Excellent communication skills for bridging technical concepts with business needs. Previous experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable. Core Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary development team, including Power BI Developers and software engineers specialising in other technologies. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle: planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
