Job Title: Deputy Children's Home Manager - 5-Bed EBD Service Location: Croydon, Greater London Pay Rate: £18.14 per hour (40 hours per week) Sleep-ins: Paid at £70.50 per sleep-in Our client is looking for a motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join their 5-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Croydon. If you are an experienced professional with a passion for supporting young people, this could be the perfect role for you. Shift Pattern: Flexible to cover a variety of shifts including early shifts, late shifts, long days, and sleep-ins. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care. Support, lead, and supervise a team of residential support workers. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of children in your care. Lead by example during shifts, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting. Relevant qualification in childcare (Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People or equivalent). Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and EBD care standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including sleep-ins. Full UK driving license.
