Nursery Assistant

SEND Nursery Assistant School Nursery Brixton Part-time (Term-time only) 11.15am - 4.15pm Start Date: January A lovely, term-time only nursery in Brixton are looking for a SEND Nursery Assistant (Level 2) to join their school in January on a part-time basis. The Role In this role, you will be supporting children within the specialist SEND provision in the nursery school. You will be working with children aged 2 - 4 years old who have identified needs and require additional support to access play-based learning activities. You will assist the teacher and other nursery staff as required which will include setting up and leading activities, personal care support, preparing and cleaning equipment and toys and assisting with observations/reports as requested. The school are looking for a calm and dedicated Nursery Assistant who has completed a level 2 qualification that is recognised for ratios in Early Years. Experience supporting children with SEND is preferred. The role starts in January and is offered on a part-time contract basis from January 2025 until July 2025. The School This outstanding term-time only nursery school is based in Brixton. They have a welcoming, friendly staff team, led by an established management team. The nurture room was established 3 years ago to provide specialist support for children under 5 with identified special needs in Lambeth. There is a dedicated teaching and support staff team who work closely to maximise the learning and development opportunities for the children in their care.
