Join CWA as a Business Improvement & Innovation Lead for Sizewell C Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving continuous improvement and innovation in large-scale projects? We at CWA (Civil Works Alliance) are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Business Improvement and Innovation Lead to establish and lead the Continuous Improvement and Innovation Department for the Sizewell C project. About Sizewell C: Sizewell C is a transformative project on the Suffolk coast, designed to meet the UK’s future energy needs with two European Pressurized Reactors (EPRs). This landmark project will generate 3.2 gigawatts of low-carbon electricity, powering approximately six million homes, and will significantly contribute to the UK's net-zero carbon emissions target. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and implement continuous improvement and innovation strategies to enhance organizational and operational efficiency. Establish and lead a new Continuous Improvement and Innovation Function, building a team of experts in lean management and innovation. Create and execute a comprehensive strategy and roadmap aligned with CWA’s strategic goals. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation across all project phases and implement best practices and new technologies. Lead efforts to streamline project processes using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Foster an innovation ecosystem, engaging internal and external stakeholders to drive creativity and new solutions. Ensure buy-in and support for initiatives from key stakeholders and keep them informed on progress and impact. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience in continuous improvement and innovation, preferably in large-scale civil works or construction projects. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, Agile). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage complex initiatives and drive cultural transformation. Technical expertise in process improvement techniques and a proven track record of implementing organizational changes.
