Maintenance Engineer

Abatec is currently looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their Maintenance team. This will include: responding to breakdowns- reactive maintenance, conducting servicing on machinery. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance & repairs on equipment and machinery. Following engineering drawings and specifications. Diagnose breakdown problems. Assist with development of new manufacturing methods. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Experience Hold a Engineering qualification. Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous maintenance background necessary. Good level of understanding of Engineering Management Systems and Processes. Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant machinery to best practice standards to ensure production is maintained at the highest possible level. This will be a full time permanent opportunity working various shifts (days & nights) with plenty of overtime available. Bonus scheme – attendance & performance.
