Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Conveyancing Assistant within the Residential Conveyancing Department at the Scunthorpe office. This role involves supporting busy fee-earners through all stages of residential property transactions, requiring someone who can work independently and handle a range of administrative tasks. Previous experience as a legal assistant or secretary is essential. Conveyancing Assistant Key Responsibilities Provide a consistently high level of service to all clients Communicate with clients via telephone, email and in person Maintain and manage the case management system while adhering to firm procedures Schedule and manage appointments and meetings Attend meetings and take minutes when required Handle general administrative tasks such as photocopying, printing, and sorting post Ensure all deadlines are met within specified timeframes Respond promptly to telephone and email inquiries Conveyancing Assistant Requirements Minimum of 1 year of secretarial or legal assistant experience (required) Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Proficient in using case management systems Effective communication skills and a client-focused approach Benefits: Competitive salary 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with an additional day at the Director's discretion for Christmas Eve where applicable Employee Assistance Programme Health and wellbeing initiatives Free onsite refreshments Pension scheme Private dental and medical insurance Company events and an excellent working environment Opportunities for career progression within a growing law firm
