Quantity Surveyor

Our client, an established Management Consultancy based in the heart of Manchester, is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. Specialising in Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects. What You’ll Be Doing As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for all aspects of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services. This includes leveraging your technical expertise and commercial knowledge to deliver outstanding results. Key responsibilities include: Managing projects from inception to completion. Attending design team and site progress meetings. Preparing detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and cashflow forecasts. Producing financial reports and overseeing valuations. Utilising your knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts to ensure effective cost management. What’s On Offer 26 days of annual leave. Competitive salary (dependent on experience). Company mobile phone. About You The ideal candidate will have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, with MRICS qualification (or working towards it). At least 3 years of professional experience in a consultancy environment. Previous experience in healthcare projects (beneficial but not essential). A strong understanding of cost management and quantity surveying duties. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. A full UK driving license
