Year 1/2 Teacher

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a lovely Infant school in Swindon who are looking for a Year ½ teacher to take full classroom responsibility from January 2025 until April 2025. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to work in a medium sized infant school in the Swindon area. The school is part of a large Multi academy trust locally in Swindon, it is a 'good' school according to the schools last Ofsted inspection in November 2023, and it has a friendly culture and excellent leadership. The teacher will be required to do the whole classroom teacher role, including parents' evenings, staff meetings and will be needed to plan lessons. The teacher will also be required to supervise a HLTA and there is a full time Teaching assistant in the classroom. In the morning it will b teaching maths and English and in the afternoon, it will be foundation subjects. There is also an early finish on Friday.
