About the Role We’re seeking a compassionate SEN Teacher to support Early Years children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). These young learners face a range of challenges, including communication difficulties, cognitive delays, sensory impairments, and physical needs. Your role will be pivotal in creating a nurturing environment that fosters growth, confidence, and joy. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging, play-based activities tailored to developmental milestones and individual needs. Use creative communication strategies, such as Makaton, AAC, or sensory cues, to build meaningful interactions. Collaborate with therapists and support staff to implement effective sensory and physical support plans. Build a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, safe, and encouraged to explore their potential. Monitor and assess progress, using your insights to refine learning strategies and approaches. Work closely with families, ensuring a collaborative and consistent approach to each child’s development.
