SEND Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team at a specialist school in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to work with secondary-aged students who require a tailored approach to learning, supporting their growth and development in a nurturing and encouraging environment. In this role, you will: Work with students facing a variety of learning challenges, including those with ASD and who may exhibit associated challenging behaviours. Be responsible for managing different classes of secondary-aged students, adapting your teaching style and resources to meet individual needs. Collaborate effectively with therapists, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to learning. To be successful in this role, you will need: A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS) Previous experience working with those with SEND A commitment to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
