Job Advert: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Ormskirk Salary: £120 - £160 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (term-time only) Contract Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join a mixed primary and secondary SEN school in Ormskirk on a full-time basis. Role Details: Responsibilities: Deliver planned lessons and support learning across a range of subjects for pupils with additional needs. Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support academic and emotional development. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Assist in developing and adapting resources to meet individual learning needs. Take on a proactive role in classroom management and student engagement. Key Requirements: Must hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent. Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing children's learning and development.
