Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Sevenoaks Pay: £88 - £110 per day (via PAYE) Vision for Education is a leading education recruitment agency that works closely with primary, secondary and SEN schools across Kent. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school team in Sevenoaks. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of children with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities Support in assessing and documenting children’s progress, fostering a learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential, regardless of their ability Assist the class Teacher in creating a tailored, engaging learning experience for each child Foster a safe, positive and stimulating classroom setting and create learning resources to support children, based on their individual needs and interests Work alongside the Teacher and other Teaching Assistants to implement personalised and provision plans, providing tailored support to children on a 1:1 or group basis Requirements Experience working with SEN children or young people, ideally in an education setting Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a wider team An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one) Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
