Position Engineering team leader (Mechanical) Client I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is well established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the engineering team by bringing a mechanical lead for a team of 4. Description Salary: £52,859 Package: 5% matched pension 24 days holiday Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights Location: Bury Role Lead the site Engineering teams to deliver production plans, service levels & engineering strategy within quality, safety and cost parameters. Implement & deliver the engineering strategy that will develop and drive reliability, improve quality, Safety and asset utilisation via all direct & indirect reports Implement best practice maintenance principles for SHE/capital programme, care and maintenance Manage Engineering systems, structures, resource and processes and ways of working Responsible for the delivery of engineering KPI’s that compliment manufacturing performance, manufacturing KPI’s, and OGSM objectives Experience Mechanical qualifications (time served apprenticeship) Organised and able to prioritise workload Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential 5 Years’ experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation Experience of leading an engineering shift for more than 3 years is essential If this position sounds as if it could be of interest, then please apply here and Jamie Lunn from D R Newitt will be in contact to discuss further
