Multi Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for a full-time permanent position on behalf of our client based in Corby. This position will entail Electrical & Mechanical maintenance on a variety of food production machinery such as fryers, conveyors, weighers & packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical/Mechanical background, with previous experience of maintaining & servicing machinery. Specific machinery training/familiarisation shall be provided. Package: £50k BASIC (Negotiable) OVERTIME (1.5X & 2X rate) COMPANY SICK PAY Schedule: Panama Shift Pattern – 12-hour shifts / Every other weekend OFF Full Job Description The role will be based within a food manufacturing facility maintaining a variety of food production machinery such as fryers, bagging machinery, weighers, flavour drums and extruders. About You: Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and above Skilled in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Continuous experience within a food manufacturing-based industry, FMCG or high speed packaging would be preferred A good working knowledge of process and packaging equipment – Experience maintaining fryers would be beneficial, but not essential Broad knowledge and experience of electro-mechanical equipment, maintenance and principles Demonstrable knowledge of safe-working practices and Continuous Improvement culture Proactive and forward-thinking mind-set Experience working with HMI & PLC controlled equipment would be advantageous Hydraulic and or Pneumatic experience would be advantageous Additional Information: Overtime available at x1.5 (any subsequent shift worked in the same rolling 7 day period is paid at x2) 19 Days Annual leave (8hrs) Heavily subsidised Canteen Company Shop Membership Life Assurance Scheme Apply today, we would love to discuss this opportunity further with you
