Freelance Residential AV Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AV Installation Technician to join our client on a luxury residential project on the M3 Corridor. The successful candidate will have experience with both 1st and 2nd fix AV installations, particularly in high-end residential settings, as well as commissioning of residential AV systems. Key Responsibilities: 1st Fix AV Installation: running cables, setting up infrastructure before walls and ceilings are completed. 2nd Fix AV Installation: installing in-ceiling speakers, AV control systems, and other equipment post-decoration. Installing, programming, and testing AV control systems such as Lutron, KNX, Crestron, Rako and Control4. Collaborating with other trades on-site to ensure a seamless integration of AV systems. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with attention to detail. Requirements: Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix AV installations. Experience working with luxury residential properties. Proficiency in installing and configuring Lutron/KNX and/or Control4 systems. Knowledge of in-ceiling speaker installations and AV control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
