About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Ensure that students remain on task with the pre-set work. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy. Provide support to students where necessary to facilitate learning. Report back to the appropriate teacher on student progress. Assist with other duties around the school, including exam invigilation and supporting staff as required.About You: We are looking for someone who: Has strong communication and classroom management skills. Is confident, adaptable, and able to work independently. Can build positive relationships with students and staff. Has experience working with young people (previous experience as a teaching assistant, sports coach, or in another educational setting is advantageous but not essential). Is enthusiastic about supporting student development and willing to make a positive impact in the classroom.Requirements: Previous experience working with young people is desirable. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations.
