Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Burnley: Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils at a primary school near Burnley. You will be required to support pupils 1-1 and in small groups. You will be working closely with the class teacher, preparing resources, supporting pupils and communicating with parents and other staff members. Position Details: Location: Burnley Position: Teaching Assistant Hours: 8:15am-3pm, during term time only Type of work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience Start date: January 2025 End date: Ongoing Experience, Training & Qualifications: Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided) Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
