Job Description

Exclusive Brand New Deputy Manager Vacancy. Ironstone Recruitment are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to work with Children & Young people in a stunning brand new provision based in Newton-Le-Willows. The house is in a beautiful part of Newton-Le-Willows and will be a warm and safe home for two young people. You will be part of a team where young people are at the forefront of our clients ethos. They may have suffered trauma and rejection and so the successful candidate will need to have empathy and understanding to encourage them to develop and ultimately achieve their own personal success. Our client offers opportunities to develop and further your career through training packages tailored to your own goals, leading to more senior roles in the future. You will need to have at least 2 years experience in a leadership role within a Childrens Residential provision, have Level 3 qualifications in Residential Childcare and if you do not currently hold Level 5 in Leadership & Management, then be willing to work towards this. You will receive £38,000 - £42,000 per annum. You will be included in the clients Profit Sharing Scheme. This is avalable to all members of staff. You must have a proven track record of understanding all the necessary legislative frameworks, as well as a good knowledge of Ofsted. A full UK driving licence. You will be required to do 2/3 sleep-ins a week. The advertised salary accounts for an average of 8 sleep-ins per month. Your week will average 39 hours on a rota basis. There will be some flexibilty required to ensure the smooth running of the home
