Weighbridge / Transport Planner

Acorn by Synergie have an exciting new permanent job opportunity for an experienced Weighbridge / Transport Planner in Cardiff. Base salary between £30,000 - £35,000 28 days' paid holiday & pension contributions Monday to Friday, 6am-3pm - and two Saturday mornings per month (paid at overtime premium). Responsibilities for Weighbridge / Transport Planner: Receiving Asphalt Orders via telephone and email from customers Inputting orders into the system Booking orders on to the plan Working with Operations and Commercial team to produce production plan for next day Programming aggregate replenishment for current and following day Communicating with Hauliers throughout the day Communicating with Customers through out the day Receipting inbound and outbound tickets for raw materials. Reporting of Inbound and Outbound materials daily Weighing in and out Asphalt deliveries Key Skills: Good communication IT literate Works well under pressure and at a pace Works well in a team Eager to Learn Industry Knowledge Product Knowledge Successful applicants will be subject to a pre-employment medical examination and substance abuse test If you have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date CV
