Transport Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport Assistant to join our team inBolton.The main purpose of the role is to support the Transport Manager across a range of administrative functions. Benefits: Competitive Salary / 25 Days Holidays / Pension Scheme / Free Parking / Private Health Care / Professional Development & Training Opportunities / Free Wellbeing Initiatives such as eye care vouchers, occupational health, employee assistance programme / Ministry of Fun / Flexible Working / Online Retailer Discounts (Seddon Smartspending) What youll do: Overseeing vehicle servicing, taxing vehicles, and MOT Manage vehicle booking diary Drop-off and collection of vehicles as required Managing the allocation and handover of vehicles Maintaining and updating accurate driver profile database and licence checking Invoice costing, processing, and filing Checking, chasing and auditing business mileage logs Administration of fuel card account Data inputting, maintaining documents and working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets Maintaining and updating motor insurance database Report/monitor accidents and liaise with insurance companies General administration duties Work closely with and support the Transport Manager Have you got what it takes: Excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritise workload Ability to work independently and under pressure Good negotiation skills Excellent computer skills and data entry skills with a keen eye for detail Team player Adhere to company standards and policies Good time management Proactive approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn new processes Positive attitude with dealing with challenge and change Full UK Driving Licence ADZN1_UKTJ
