Accounts Assistant

This well-known and fast-growing firm are looking to add to their outsourcing department within their Farnham office. The role is to support the outsourcing senior in managing the bookkeeping process, it’s not just a traditional processing role. It will involve client contact and supporting the bookkeeping team. What will the Accounts Assistant role involve? Supporting the Outsourcing Senior in managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews Preparing, reviewing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes Providing support to clients on various bookkeeping/accounts packages Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience within accountancy practice AAT training Software usage: Xero, Sage, Quickbooks VAT experience CIS awareness Passionate about delivering great service and a high level of client care Additional benefits and information for the role of Accounts Assistant: Study support Hybrid working following an induction period to ensure you’re comfortable with process and systems Buy/Sell holiday scheme Car parking permit for nearby car park Employee benefits portal CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
