Driver Trainer

Key Responsibilities: - Manage all driver training and development (self-drive & carrier work) - Manage internal & external driver training programmes - Manage all administrative function related to driver training - Plan and execute training schedules at various depots - Ensure all drivers are fully competent prior to entering the field - Develop electronic training material and videos - Manage and development of driver performance - Reporting on Training and Assessments conducted - Conduct site and route assessments Qualifications and Skills Required: - Minimum Gr. 10 - Previous Training experience will be advantageous - Medically fit - Ability to work with technology Driver assessments done via electronic platform - Valid Code EC License with PrDP - Experience in the transport industry will be advantageous - Excellent communication skills - both verbally and writing - Sound general mechanical knowledge of trucks & trailers - Must have own transport
