Job Description
Timetabling operational plans, objectives, and schedules Monitoring, control, and corrective action in relation to all timetabling plans, schedules, and objectives Reporting on progress feedback and timetabling performance feedback to stakeholders Manage the alignment with all relevant stakeholders Ensure all stakeholders are enabled and the team is capacitated to deliver the work (people, infrastructure, systems, technology, equipment, knowledge, content, process, design, information, facilities/physical environment trends) Ensure the necessary timetabling processes, standards, and systems are in place, ensure governance and ensure compliance and that all timetabling risks are identified and mitigated Stakeholder relations and reporting Liaise with the facilities/student support departments regarding the number of teaching spaces available, and on related quality and capacity issues and projects Act in an advisory capacity on all timetabling matters, including producing updates to Senior Management on issues and progress including input to timetabling-related committees, workshops and meetings Ensure effective partnership working with the Student Data and Academic Systems Team, IT Department, Facilities Department, and other functional areas Explore and report on ways of improving and developing timetable delivery to facilitate the development of academic work and the improvement of space utilisation
