What are we looking for: A talented and versatile Video Editor to join our team and play a key role in crafting high-quality, engaging video content that captivates and inspires. While this position supports our efforts in the education sector, we welcome candidates with strong creative experience in e-commerce, advertising, or other dynamic industries. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, a passion for visual storytelling and expertise in editing diverse video formats. You’ll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to bring video lessons, promotional campaigns, social media assets and branded content to life, ensuring that every project resonates with the intended audience. What you will do: Video Editing and Post-Production: Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content, including: Educational video lessons Marketing and promotional videos Social media and advertising assets Podcasts and webinars Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, animations and other enhancements to elevate content quality Perform colour grading, audio balancing and final rendering for distribution Creative Storytelling: Transform scripts and creative briefs into compelling visual narratives Suggest innovative approaches to content presentation that align with audience needs and platform requirements Content Optimisation: Adapt content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style across projects Team Collaboration: Work closely with the content team, scriptwriters, designers and marketing teams to understand project objectives Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas to the table File Organisation and Delivery: Manage and maintain an organised library of video files, assets and project backups Ensure timely delivery of projects, accommodating revisions when necessary Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, tools and techniques Experiment with emerging styles and technologies to keep content fresh and engaging What you must have: Required: 5 years of experience in video editing with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects Expertise in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) Strong understanding of motion graphics and animation tools, such as Adobe After Effects Proven ability to adapt content for various platforms and audiences Solid skills in colour grading, sound design and storytelling Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlines Preferred: Experience in creating educational, advertising, or e-commerce video content Familiarity with audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity) Understanding of social media trends and video marketing strategies Basic knowledge of video production, including camera and lighting setups Join us if you’re a creative problem-solver with a passion for crafting compelling video content that educates, engage and entertains
