Project Engineer

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Certification in project management would be advantageous. Proven experience coordinating complex manufacturing projects, preferably in the plastics or manufacturing industry. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and track progress against milestones. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project. Competency in 3D – CAD design (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks) Be highly proficient in MS Office specifically MS Excel Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies for product design and tool manufacture projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure alignment and efficient project execution. Drive the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Proactively monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks that arise. Communication and Reporting Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the plan. Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators. Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, discuss challenges, and make data-driven decisions. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to streamline project management workflows. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the project team.
