Head of Operations

As Head of Operations for our South Africa office, youll foster a people-centred, high- performance culture in Cape Town or Johannesburg, balancing client services with internal operations. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for human-centred success. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Building and hiring a team to design and execute strategic plans that advance our mission Overseeing and refining daily operations, creating processes that reflect our people-focused approach Being a beacon of direction and motivation within our organization, leading, mentoring, and inspiring colleagues at all levels Working with our Finance Manager to track financial performance and maintain sustainability Ensuring adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards Leading our IT and technology strategy, supporting our goals, ensuring systems are up-to-date, and fostering a culture of innovation Nurturing and maintaining meaningful client relationships, prioritizing their satisfaction and strengthening our reputation as a trusted partner Fostering a positive and supportive work environment where everyone can succeed Ability to lead with empathy and vision while embracing challenges along the way Extensive experience in professional services, with deep knowledge of operational models, particularly in the gaming or gambling sectors Strong skills in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making, with a forward-looking and detail-oriented mindset Ability to guide strategic financial decisions, aligning with and supporting our mission Proven ability to lead through influence, inspiring colleagues to achieve more Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) with a continuous focus on enhancing operational efficiency
