Abinitio Developer - Hadoop/Hive/ETL

Key Responsibilities : Application Development : Design, build, and configure applications using Ab Initio to meet specific business requirements and processes. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, prioritize, and understand business needs, ensuring timely delivery of solutions. Technical Documentation : Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals for the solutions implemented. Support & Guidance : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards in application development. Innovation & Integration : Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ab Initio and related technologies (e.g, Hadoop, Spark, Hive), incorporating innovative approaches to maintain a competitive advantage. ETL & Data Warehousing: Leverage strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing principles to build and optimize data pipelines. Required Skills & Experience : Must-Have : Ab Initio Expertise : - Proven experience working with Ab Initio for application design, development, and configuration. - ETL Concepts & Data Warehousing: Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing best practices. SQL & Unix Scripting : Hands-on experience with SQL and Unix scripting for data manipulation and job automation. Version Control Tools: Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN. Good-to-Have : Hadoop, Spark, and Hive : Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Hive would be an advantage. Advanced Analytics : Familiarity with data processing and advanced analytics tools is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
