Data Scientist - R/Python

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to develop advanced analytical models and leverage data to solve complex business problems. You will work on extracting insights from large datasets, building predictive models, and delivering data-driven solutions to drive business performance. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. - Design and develop machine learning models to support business objectives. - Work on data pre-processing, feature engineering, and optimization of predictive models. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide actionable insights. - Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve processes and decision-making. - Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through reports, dashboards, and presentations. - Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data science and analytics. - Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain scalable data pipelines. Mandatory Skills : - Strong experience in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning. - Expertise in machine learning algorithms such as regression, clustering, classification, and neural networks. - Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. - Familiarity with big data tools and platforms like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib. - Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling concepts. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. - Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions. Nice to Have Skills : - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. - Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques. - Exposure to time-series forecasting and anomaly detection. - Understanding of MLOps for deploying and managing models in production. Education and Certifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. - Certifications in data science or machine learning (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning, TensorFlow Developer Certificate) are a plus.
