Job Description

Job Title: Oracle SCM Inventory Cost accounting. Location: Bengalore. Experience: 8-10Years. Job Description : - Experience with the complete business processes across all Oracle SCM Inventory Cost accounting. - Must have very good knowledge and experience in Oracle Cloud SCM Inventory Cost accounting covering both EBS & Fusion. - Hands-on experience in at least 2 full life cycle project delivery and implementation for Oracle SCM Procurement Inventory Cost Accounting configuration. - Possess detailed architectural knowledge & functional flow on Oracle EBS & Cloud SCM Inventory Cost accounting solutions. - Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. - Understands and implements the most advanced product features. - Ability to produce artifacts such as fit gap documents, business process, functional design, configuration documents, and test scripts, training documents adhering to Oracle AIM and OUM methodologies. - 8-12 years of Oracle EBS & Cloud SCM Implementation Support experience are desirable . - Recommend, as per previous experiences, the appropriate methodology to derive and implement above. - The same methodology would need to be applied for our short-listed test items. Key Responsibilities : Costing Configuration : - Configure costing methods and settings for inventory, manufacturing, and procurement processes within Oracle SCM modules. - Define standard, average, and actual costing methods. - Set up costing rules, cost books, cost categories, and cost elements. - Ensure proper costing setup for multi-organization and multi-currency environments. Cost Management : - Oversee the costing activities for inventory and manufacturing transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting. - Maintain cost roll-ups for products and goods. - Manage and reconcile the general ledger (GL) integration with Oracle Costing and Financials modules. - Address any discrepancies in inventory and manufacturing costs. Costing Reports & Analysis : - Develop, analyze, and present reports on cost variances, cost of goods sold (COGS), product cost breakdowns, and profitability. - Utilize Oracle reporting tools such as Oracle BI or Oracle Analytics Cloud to create cost-related reports. - Provide in-depth cost analysis for decision-making and profitability improvements. - Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in costing processes, recommend best practices, and implement process enhancements. Collaborate with other departments (Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics) to streamline costing processes. Participate in cost reduction initiatives and strategies. Implementation & Support: Lead or assist in Oracle SCM Costing module implementations, upgrades, and system maintenance. Assist with Oracle Costing module upgrades and migration projects. Provide post-implementation support to resolve user issues related to costing functionality. Training & Documentation: Develop user guides, training materials, and conduct user training sessions on costing processes and best practices. Provide ongoing user support and system troubleshooting. Document configuration changes and ensure knowledge transfer. (ref:hirist.tech)
