DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Description : As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This position involves working with cloud platforms, container orchestration, automation tools, and security frameworks to ensure seamless integration and scalability across environments. Your expertise will drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and ensure high availability and performance of applications. Key Responsibilities : - Infrastructure Setup : Configure and maintain GIT repositories, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and other DevOps tools in multi-cloud hosting environments. - Cloud Services Expertise : Work extensively with AWS/Azure services to design and manage scalable cloud-based solutions. - Containerization & Orchestration : Build and manage Docker images and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, including patching and upgrades. - Automation Development : Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent. - System Management : Manage and monitor Linux-based systems and ensure system security, reliability, and scalability. - Cloud Security : Implement and maintain cloud security tools to protect applications and infrastructure. - Kubernetes Maintenance : Administer on-premises Kubernetes clusters, including regular monitoring, updates, and patching. - Lifecycle Integration : Collaborate in the software development lifecycle, particularly in infrastructure design, execution, and debugging. - Database Management : Manage MSSQL and Redis databases, including monitoring and optimization. - Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Use cloud monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimized performance. Skills and Qualifications : Mandatory Requirements : - Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps practices. - Strong expertise in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Proficiency with DevOps automation tools and familiarity with DevOps frameworks and Agile methodologies. - Hands-on experience in scripting using Shell, Python, or Ansible. - In-depth understanding and experience with AWS or Azure cloud services. - Comprehensive knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift. - Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues effectively. Preferred Qualifications : - Familiarity with middleware technologies and database systems. - Experience in working with project management tools like JIRA. - Exposure to cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or equivalent. - Knowledge of security best practices and tools for cloud environments (ref:hirist.tech)
